** Droppin' Inprov! Take 2! Now on the correct Night! **
Hello Torontonians!
Ever wanted to try some Improv games? Curious at how to get started? Little bit concerned about public speaking? Well, wonder no more! Come out and try a Improv workshop at the Bad Dog Theater. It is a beginner's intro so if you have never tried it, this is a great opportunity!
We will meet at the Bad Dog at 6:30pm\6:40pm to quickly mingle for the 7:00pm class. It is one hour long and after that, we will have the option to either stay and watch their TheaterSports at a discount or moving on to a nearby bar for chitchat and cocktails! Or beer if you prefer. I will do a vote at the end of the class and to be fair we will go with the majority.
Now keep in mind that the first room is small and there will other people there, so I would suggest you arrive on time, not only to know who the other members are but also to pick your choice of seating.
Last time I was there, they separated the class in two, with the more advanced going to a separate room, so if you arrive late, well, chances are that you won't be able to find all of us. So being early helps.
The Bad Dog Theater has for 27 years been the de facto route if you want some affordable Improv classes along catching many a funny performance through their TheatherSports series and countless other plays and works. Aside being locally brewed, their stage has many a comedian which whom you might recognize and the most impressive thing is that it has been done mostly through volunteers! You have to love our dedication to comedy!
We should try to meet inside the theater by the front desk, if not then look for us inside the room where the work shop will take place. Ask for Mauricio's group! Not Meetup.
Come out, give it a try!

The event was fun and the people were friendly. One of the wonderful surprises during that night was finding out how entertaining the members are on and off stage!!
