NEWSFLASH: World Cup Brunch

GERMANY VS ARGENTINA


Hi Gang!

It has been requested we watch a few World Cup games together and what better way to start that off idea than by watching two giants of the sport go at each other!? Argentina has won the cup twice to Germany's three times, including the time they beat Argentina for the cup in the finals back in '90. So the teams do have some history to defend and heck, maybe even a score (no pun intended) to settle.

So we are doing a brunch at Spirits bar as it is nicely centrally located near Yonge and Bloor. Their main room is plastered with TV's and their breakfast/lunch menu is pretty good for a bad. They also do have specials and for those who much have a drink at "NOON" or is the correct time at "11:00am?" they got you covered as well.

By the way, just a quick note, the games are no longer at 10:30am, they are at 10:00am so Spirits its kindly opening their doors at 10:00am for us, a half and hour then their regular. Nice chaps, aren't they? Just ask for Mauricio or Toronto Friends Org. in case you can't find us.

So come out, get a yummy meal and socialize and make new friends!
