Toronto Friends Organization Monthly Meetup

Hello Everyone,

Alright, it is settled. We will be going to the The Raq! We have been going there for AGES... for real; and we have seen it go from a local, hidden place that next to no one new about to an excellent hangout polymath! It's got the exposed brick look, a bar, a lounge, a dance floor with DJ spinning top 40's, pool tables, a patio/outdoor smoke-quarium for those who like to live large with their lungs. Tellin' ya, it's got it all.

They do have some restrictions, Treat your ears to the sounds of Toronto's own DJ Donovan. Dance, Rock, R&B, Old Skool.
No cover.


They do have some restrictions to weed out the under-aged (no disrespect to kids) and the people who dress like bums (no disrespect to people who wear their jeans down to their ass, actually, no, I disrespect that, they look foolish!)

So....

House policy 21+
Strict dress code in effect. Dress to impress.
(NO hats (and by that they mean baseball hats), oversized shirts, baggy pants, jerseys, track or jogging suits. NO Tank Tops / Sleeveless Shirts for Men. *NO EXCEPTIONS*)

Weather permitting coat check is available starting at 8:30 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Now the place is on the second floor and it just west of Queen and Bathurst, there is parking on the street but I would suggest you come early if you want to try to nab a parking spot.
