Allo Everyone!

There has been a slight change regarding location --and when I say 'slight' I mean total- as Ron the nice manager who booked my reservation four weeks ago forgot, in earnest, to realize they are going to be closed this coming Friday. Damn religious holidays, always making life difficult for us heretics.
Nice. Uh?

After one of our members mentioned this tiny fact to me and I called to ask WTF, he apologized for the error. Explaining he was going to call me to let me know... mind you, he is a nice guy and we have used their locale a number of times, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

As such we are moving our 80+ people to an equally great place. Where? Just 5 minutes away by car just a bit further north on John Street, one short block south of MuchMusic, for those riding the rocket. It is a great place to socialize as well. With pool tables and the land lots of space!

Which in the end up for the better as there are not only pool tables, but also a dance floor for those who want to dance later on -- for those asking the music is going to be top 40's. It goes without mentioning that I do not think we could have fit 60+ people in The Charlotte Room so it all worked out for the best.

It is called the 2nd Montana's and to find the group simple go to the second floor, walk straight and when you got to the bar, just look to your right and you will see couches waiting for us, and well, me. I will be there around 9:00, now try to be there early to maximize your socializing!

The place looks great! How about a virtual tour? Sure, here! There is generally a cover charge, of $5, but after a little chit and a bit of chat, I was able to have that waived, just make sure to mention that you are with "Mauricio's Party!" There is a mandatory coat check in effect although it is $2.75, but the weather seems to be warming up.

My apologies for the change of locale, however this was sprung up on me and I was just as surprised as all of you and I have spent sometime scouting locations but not many places can handle such a large crowd with all the pluses AND still allow people room to mingle and without a cover.
