RE: Saturday Brunch @ The PearTree (removing no-shows)

Hello everyone!
Just a quick reminder & FYI. With smaller events, like today's breakfast, attendance is paramount. Why? Because in say, a group of ten people if five do not show up, that's half our reservation, which as you can imagine is not respectful to those who come out, also makes us look bad to the venue and only makes it harder for us to book it next time specially if they open a section just for us.
As such, five people did not show up today, unfortunately I cannot keep a '3 strikes and your out' list in a group of over 1400+ people, I simply do not have the manpower. So, the onus lands on you, the member, to judge yourself accordingly and see whether you can make an event or not. Am I asking for too much? Nah, I am not.
As such they will be banned off the group shortly. I understand if one or two could not make it, that's life but five?! That is what changing your RSVP's is for.
Having said that, to those who came up we ended up having a great time. Ended up going for a walk after brunch to Allan's Gardens to see the flora as in the end, the weather ended up being a lot better than expected!
